  1. 10-17 year olds start any Monday 14th June to 28th August at SKOLA Regent's Park

  2. 7-9 year olds start 14th June to 3rd July at SKOLA Regent's Park. 7-9 year olds are also at SKOLA Regent's Park for the last two week of the summer, the weeks 16th August - 28th August.

  3. 5-9-year-olds start any Monday 5th July to 13th August at SKOLA Gloucester Gate.

  4. Choose as many weeks as you like (min. 1 week, Max 11 weeks)

  5. Maximum class size 16 students (2 members of staff per group on trips)

  6. The 10-17-year-old 6 full-day programme has 2 half-day Discover London trips per week and 1 full-day Saturday trip.

  7. 5-9-year-olds on a 5 full-day programme have 1 half-day Discover London trip per week

  8. Half-day course available from 9:00 - 12:15, Monday - Friday

  9. All levels including beginners

SKOLA Regent's Park and Gloucester Gate

SKOLA Regent's Park

10-17-year-olds from 14th June - 28th August 2027 & 7-9-year-olds from 14th June - 3rd July and 16th August - 28th August 2027

Regent's Park is located in the centre of London. A short walk from Baker Street tube into Regent's Park takes you to Regent's University where the school is located for 11 weeks of the summer. We have a tennis and multisport court on site and playing fields surround the campus for football and other sports. The school's excellent location means fresh air and space whilst being close to all the major attractions in London.

SKOLA Gloucester Gate

5-9-year-olds from 5th July - 13th August 2027

At the North end of Regent's Park, near Camden is SKOLA Gloucester Gate open from 5th July to 13th August 2027. This houses our 5 to 9-year-olds for 6 weeks and has 7 classrooms, a canteen and a garden. We are opposite Regent's Park, with space for sports and a fabulous playground. For the first three weeks of the summer, and the last 2 weeks, 7 to 9 year olds will study at SKOLA Regent's Park.​ All trips on a Saturday leave from SKOLA Regent's Park throughout the summer. Arrive 8:30am. Return 4:30pm.

English Summer Programme for 5 to 9-year-olds

Students aged 7-9 year olds start in SKOLA Regent's Park on 14th June until the 3rd July. They then switch to SKOLA Gloucester Gate, where 5-6 year olds can also study and learn in dedicated classrooms for this age group from 5th July - 13th August 2027. 7-9-year-olds then learn at SKOLA Regent's Park for the last two weeks of the summer.

Each week has a theme for the lessons, the Discover London visits and Friday party. For example: THE NATURAL WORLD, with visits to the London Aquarium or the Natural History Museum.

 

Morning English classes develop grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing and speaking. After sports and play in the park, students develop their English through tasks leading to a final presentation on Friday. For half-day students, it is advised to add an excursion for £50 so students can go on the Wednesday excursion and £50 for the Friday afternoon for presentations and the party.

Students can add the Saturday excursion but must be accompanied by a parent or guardian and depart from SKOLA Regent's Park.

Weekly Themes, Trips, Friday Presentations and Saturday Visits 2027 for 5-9 year olds

For the weeks starting 14th June, 21st June, 28th June and 16th and 23rd August, courses runs from SKOLA Regent's Park for 7-9 year-olds.

English Summer Programme for 10 to 17-year-olds

The programme is based in SKOLA Regent's Park with spacious classrooms and great sports facilities from 14th June to 28th August 2027.

Each week has a theme for the lessons, the Discover London visits, and the activities. For example, London Calling - a geography-based week has visits to the London Eye and the National Portrait Gallery. Lessons build language around the theme including grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, and speaking.

Our 10-12 year olds follow our London Explorers course which includes two hours per week to develop their exploring skills. Our 13 - 14 and 15 - 17 year olds follow our Leaders course with two hours per week to develop their leadership skills. 

 

Students develop work related to all the learning and the visits, such as a poster, a talk, a play, or even a video. They present their work to the school on Friday afternoons before the party.

We test all students either before via Zoom, or on the first day, and place students in class according to their age and level.

Our age bands are 5-6, 7-9, 10-12 and 13-14 and 15-17. We have 5 levels in each band from 7 up: Beginner, Elementary, Pre-intermediate, Intermediate, and Upper-Intermediate

Some classes have a capacity of 14, some have a capacity of 16 which is our max class size.

​

Our maximum quota from any one nationality is 20% of our capacity in school and 33% in any one class. We want students to learn English and discover other cultures by making friends with people from all over the world. 

We keep coming back to SKOLA because of Greta's progress. She is much more confident in English. Her knowledge is enhancing each year, and she is really very, very happy

Residential Accommodation

SKOLA has a beautiful residence for 12-17-year-olds located at Nutford House in historic Marylebone. It is a 20-minute walk from SKOLA Regent's Park where students study during the day.

 

SKOLA Regent’s Park offers a 6-day summer course which includes 15 hours of English, 15 hours of sports activities and excursions in London, plus one excursion outside London on Saturdays. They stay in single rooms with shared gender-specific bathrooms. All meals are included.

 

Additional activities like film night, games night, and karaoke entertain students in the late afternoon and evenings. It's a great way to make friends from other cultures and spend time in the heart of the city. Arrival and departure days are on Sunday.
